Ocean's Thirteen

Danny Ocean and his gang of con artists return to Vegas. This time they are assisted by their old nemesis. The new villain is Willy Bank, who happens to be the former business partner of Reuben. Bank decides to open a new casino without Reuben. So Danny and his crew decide to steal three quarters of a billion dollars from the casino. In order for the plan to work all the machines and games have to be rigged. That's easier said than done. Some one has to go to the factory where the dice are made and load them, some one has to rig the slot machines, while others rig the games. Then another person has to pretend to be a super high roller.

Bank's casino has a state of the art security system that can only be disrupted by an earthquake. Once that happens the system shuts down and takes three and a half minuets to reboot. In order to simulate an earthquake the gang has to use a machine that tunnels underground. To get the machine they need to borrow money from Terry Benedict. In return Benedict wants Ocean to steal the diamonds Bank got when his casinos receive a five diamond review.

Banks wants his new casino to get a five star review, but he doesn't know that while some one is impersonating the reviewer, Ocean's gang is making the actual reviewer's life a nightmare.

Ocean's Thirteen has an all star cast just like the previous films. It's as good the first movie, and it's better than second one. If you like heist flicks then you'll like Ocean's Thirteen. It's only flaw is the fact that the movie makes robbing a casino look easier than it really is. If your even thinking about ripping off a casino you should know that it takes a lot of time, people, and effort to pull off. You also have to deal with security, and the risk of getting arrested. So don't even try it. That kind of scheme is best left to the professionals.

I give this movie an 8 out of 10.

How the rating system works:
