Rocky Balboa

If you had one chance to fulfill your your dream would you take it, or let it slide? That's the situation Rocky finds himself in after watching a computer generated fight against the current champ Mason "The Line" Dixon, in which Rocky wins. That fight gives Mason's managers the idea to have the champ fight Rocky for real.

When they tell Rocky this idea at first he says that he'll think about it, after a while Rocky decides to get into the ring one last time. When his son finds out he tells his father that its a bad idea for him to fight. Rocky refuses to let his age slow him down, and then comes the training montage that's in every Rocky movie.

The fight between Rocky and Mason clearly shows what boxing has become. Its not as popular as it used to be, and most of the matches are either on a 24 hour sports channel such as ESPN or Fox Sports Net, or a pay per view channel. The fight in the movie is broadcast on the HBO pay per view channel. One of the commentators is Max Kellerman, the former host of ESPN's Around the Horn. Mike Tyson also makes a cameo appearance in the movie.

The message of this movie is that you should follow your dreams, no matter how crazy they may seem to other people. Rocky's dream was to fight in the ring one last time. If George Foreman can do it, then why can't Rocky?
If your a fan of the Rocky movies, then you'll love Rocky Balboa.

I give this movie a 7 out of 10.
